WE'RE GONNA MAKE IT!!!!!!!!!!!

So you know how we've been working on my parents house for practically FOREVER? Well, while things still aren't moving at record pace, we're actually nearing the end. It's almost unbelievable!!! This is what we've got left:

Bathroom:
- Accessories like tp holder, towel rack, and stuff like that. It's otherwise done.

Bedrooms (all 2 of them):
- A ceiling fan needs the blades put on in one of the rooms.
- Need to finish painting the doors, put on a couple door knobs, and hang them. Hanging the doors will actually be the very last thing we do cuz the carpet is going to be the next to last thing and the carpet layers will appreciate having the doors off.

Kitchen:
- Seal some grout on some accent tiles we put in around the counter top to hide the gap created from having a 90 degree counter top but about 92 degree walls. :o)
- Finish installing the last of the base boards, fix the gaps since we didn't cut a few of them all that well (shhhhh, don't tell), then prime and paint those bad boys.
- Install a louvered door in front of the water heater to hide all of it's glory.
- Put on the last few plates over the electrical outlets and a light above the kitchen sink.
- Maybe put in a few used appliances (gas stove, fridge, microwave). Thanks to Mark's parents we have a dishwasher at least! The only other dishwashers that house has had in the last 30 some odd years responded to either "Mom" or "Dad" so that's an upgrade.

Living Room/Hall:
- Finish texturing the ceiling and upper wall area. We're about 75% done with this part.
- Prime and paint!!! This is going to be a large project cuz it's a large room!
- The closet doors need to be painted and hung too, after the carpet like the others.

Then CARPET and putting doors back up and it's DONE!!!!!!!!!!!

We can only squeeze in about 5 hours a week over there (especially since the Jazz are in the playoffs and we don't have dvr) so we realistically have a few weeks left but I can accept that at this point. We're not going to do much with the yard unless it really prohibits us from selling it. So if anyone knows anyone looking for a nice little starter home, let us know! I'll have to see if we have some "before" pictures and we can post some "after" pictures so you can all appreciate what the horrid excuse for a house in the beginning has transformed into.
